AVO’s Lee Wilson was at it yet again down at Sandown International Raceway for a Nissan Car Club Australia event, the event call the John Mott Sprint which is held annually. This time Lee was sporting a new custom designed AVO graphic. Laurie Davidson was out again with his screaming Toyota Soarer GT, absolutely caning it down the straight with a best lap time of 1:20:07 and finishing 2nd overall in his class and outright. Lee with a personal best time of 1:22:03 and finishing 3rd overall and first in his class. Everything seemed to be going along smoothly until the last run of the day when Lee thought he was in a drift comp letting the GTS hang a little wide. Overall a great day of racing with plenty of fun had by all involved.
Another AVO prepared vehicle was the Porsche of Zoran Letticuni, he had a bad day due to suspension problems. Rear tyres being overly slippery and not sticking to the track just made the day worse.
