The burning question is, probably, how did we do this year? Very well, thank you. After the dust (and random engine, suspension, and body parts) had settled, we ended up a bit better than even we anticipated. While not the fastest at the track, ending up at the 4th place mark is nothing to sneeze at. The car did a 1 minute, 1.5 second time, clearly better than last year by nearly a second. And to be honest, it would have been even better than that with a bit more suspension setup and choice of tires. 

This year we chose to go with the Hankooks over last years Dunlops. We were not the only team to do so, a good majority of the other teams took the same choice. This is probably why the times were all rather middling, with a 1minute .38 second mark being the fastest. So the gap has narrowed by a good margin, especially given that we are battling on somebody elses native turf!

The rest of the day went quite well, and everybody had a great time. Probably due to the economic times, there was not quite as much new product on display, but the mood overall was upbeat. A good start to the year for us, and gives us more to work towards next year!
