Our new turbocharger kit for the 2005-2009 Legacy and Outback 2.5i, and 2008+ Impreza 2.5i! These kits transform your 2.5i into an absolute beast with double the horsepower from stock! AVO was the first to develop a turbocharger kit for the 1999-2004 Impreza 2.5RS in 2001 - and people are still running around in the original kits! We've drawn on our decade of experience with turbocharging naturally aspirated Subaru motors to create this highly engineered kit. 

While our initial kits for the early model RS were based around a top mount intercooler, we have moved to a front mount intercooler for the newer vehicles. A FMIC based design means that users don't have to find a new hood for their that had a hoodscoop, saving a bunch of money right there. Plus the FMIC allows for more flow and better cooling. 

We've also designed a turbocharger specifically for this appliction, that spools up quickly, has fantastic mid-range torque, and has more than enough headroom for your needs! This is due to our own cast exhaust housing design which was created specifically for this application. Along with the stainless steel uppipe and downpipe, the kit contains all the necessary hoses, oil lines, water lines, and other fittings necessary to bolt this kit up. The turbocharger is both oil and water-cooled, just like in stock turbocharged vehicles - and just as reliable. 

What kind of power can you expect? Take a look at the graph below! Over 200whp on a dyno where stock N/A cars barely break 100whp. And it's easy power too, generated at just 4.5-5psi. This is thanks to our specially designed boost actuators that will run at these lower boost levels, keeping your system from overboosting. Our experience with these kits has shown us all the issues that need to be addressed for running a turbo reliably, and we have taken care of them all.

Due to the higher fueling requirements of the turbocharger kit, it is necessary to upgrade the fuel pump and the fuel injectors to run this kit reliably.
